TOPO! State Series
First released in the late 1990's TOPO! State Series products are the most popular topographic mapping software packages for outdoor enthusiasts. State Series products are available in 28 state and multi-state packages and are compatible with both Mac and PC operating systems.

State Series were developed to meet the needs of outdoor recreators that desire large amounts of authentic USGS topographic maps. Each product contains 5 map levels including: 2 National Geographic Atlas Maps, USGS 1:500,000 scale, USGS 1:100,000 scale topographic, and USGS 1:24,000 topographic.

Later versions of State Series contain an updated TeleAtlas road layer which can be toggled on/off and 3D viewing. TOPO! Streets and 3D Views Expansion Pack added this functionality to versions earlier than 4.0.

The first three State Series products released with V2.5 did not allow the user to toggle the shaded relief off/on. All later versions included this functionality.
